Bricklayer Apprenticeships

At Watts Brickwork we are passionate about developing skills in young people, ensuring the future generations of bricklayers. We currently employ apprentices who are supported through their training by providing invaluable ‘on the job experience’ with professional, highly trained, ‘time served’ bricklayers.

Each September we recruit apprentice bricklayers to join our apprenticeship scheme through CITB, City & Guilds or Pathways Training.

The scheme is a 5 day week, 4 days are on site, the fifth day will be in college where the our apprentices are taught the theory side of bricklaying alongside practical skills. Apprenticeship rates of pay apply.

After completion of the apprenticeship programme, the majority of our apprentices continue their careers with Watts Brickwork, we are fortunate to have highly skilled bricklayers working for us who came through our apprenticeship scheme many years ago.

Watts Brickwork apprentices can achieve NVQ Level 2 & 3 (Fully Qualified Bricklayer).
