Watts Brickwork are fully committed to Health & Safety, Training and Product Quality. We have a Health & Safety policy in place, which sets out the guidelines in respect of any employee, self-employed person and contractor under our control, who’s Health & Safety, may be affected by our work activities. It is our intention to assist in the protection of all personnel whilst at work and to fulfil both our legal and moral obligations.
Safety Legislation
We take regular advice from our Health & Safety consultants (Stuart Campbell Safety Consultancy), who ensure all our safety legislation is kept up to date. Stuart visits each new site to assess the level of safety and then prepare the relevant reports for our Principal Contractors. He also carries out monthly Site inspections.
Safety Compliance
Watts Brickwork ensures that the company and staff alike comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant Health & Safety legislation and Codes of Practice. Monthly toolbox talks are given to our workforce and refresher courses on various subjects are carried out (e.g. Abrasive wheels).
